Step 1
After onsite setup, we start with a pressure test to measure the airflow inefficiencies in your home before insulation.
Step 2
Next, we visually inspect the attic and use caulking to seal any visible holes.
Step 3
We then inspect the ductwork for leaks and seal any gaps before applying insulation material.
Step 4
We install blow-in attic insulation to reach an R38 level (resistance to heat flow level), typically between 14″-18″ deep. We use white blown-in fiberglass insulation along with mastic and foam for sealing.
Step 5
After installation, we perform the same pressure test conducted before insulation to evaluate improvements achieved and confirm reduced airflow.
Step 6
Finally, we provide a detailed report with measurements, photos, and a summary of the work done, including estimated utility savings based on the insulation improvements.
Our residential insulation services ensure your home is properly insulated with minimal disruption to your daily life. We will send our team of 2-4 field experts to your home to handle the project efficiently.
The whole process typically takes around 2-4 hours. Our team will need inside access to your attic for our blow door test. You can sit back, relax, and let us optimize your home for the best results.
If the existing insulation is in good condition—free from issues like rodent droppings, insect infestation, or mold—there’s no need to remove it. We can retrofit the new insulation over the existing layers.
Elevation uses only fiberglass insulation for its affordability, ease of installation, and long-term durability. While cellulose offers good insulation, it is generally more expensive, harder to install, and can degrade more easily due to moisture and settling.
Fiberglass, on the other hand, doesn’t rot, decay, or promote mildew growth —making it the cost-effective, reliable choice for Elevation.
Elevation handles the rebate process for our customers. Rebates are sent directly to us by the utility provider, so you only pay the difference upfront, keeping your out-of-pocket expenses lower.
Federal tax credits covering up to 30% of costs are also available for eligible home insulation installations.
